have to have a domain name to host with us. Make sure the domain
name is available if you have not registered it already. Even if
we are not registering the domain for you, you need to enter it
in on the order form.
4. Yes,
the order form and all information passed through it is completely
secure.
5. Make
sure you are using a valid Visa/Mastercard, that your info was typed
in correctly, and that the address you put in matches the cards
billing address.
6. Go to
your support center and fill out a request. Account takes up to
72 hours to cancel.
7. An off
network email address is one that is not based at the domain name
you are hosting with us. If your domain name is bob.com, anything@bob.com
is considered 'on network.

The next step in setting up your account is choosing how you wish
to upload your files. You can use one of the following programs to
upload your site

Most programs
you will use to upload like FTP will ask you for the following settings:
HOST/SERVER: yourdomain.com or IP_address USERNAME: yourdomain (without
.com, .net, etc.) PASSWORD: sent to you in your welcome letter Host/Server:
This is yourdomain name without "www". Also, please note
that for the first 10 days you will want to use your IP_Address
to upload your files. Your IP_Address can be found in the welcome
letter that was sent to you when you signed up. If you have any
difficulty accessing your account with the domain name after this
period, please submit your request to support@realwebhost.net. If
you have registered your domain with any registrar other than Network
Solutions, please make sure that you have followed the transfer
procedures outlined in your order confirmation email. This message
should be titled "Welcome to Real Web Host!". Directory
Path: This is the directory to which you will need to upload your
files. Your directory path will always be public_html. 9.
Before your domain is pointed you can view your site via an IP address.
If you do not have a dedicated IP, goto http://SERVERIP/~login/
Make sure you have the trailing slash on the end. This url should
be in your setup letter. If you have a dedicate IP, goto http://YOURIP/~username/ |
